Okay i have been writing a story on quotev and was wondering what people think about it and i have decided to put it on here also sorry i haven't been on in forever.


STARFALL

it is l:[][] in the morning you may be wondering why the heck i am up well first off let me introduce myself my name is Marshal and i am a 14 year old male if you did not guess already.

Ok back to the main question well to be honest i have no idea why i am up but my body just decided to get up at this time and not let me get back to feeding it the rest it needs  in order to live so here i am bored out of my mind debating whether to go outside or not but if you ask me i think i have better chances of being entertained outside than i am in here in my room so outside it is then.

Grabbing the latch that keeps my window closed i pull as easy as i can so i dont wake up any of my family members and lift it up as it unlatches the window.I let go of the latch and crawl through the window sill and unto the roof the first thing i do is try to focus on not falling off the roof and stabilizing myself. when stabilized i stop and stare into the star painted sky,its so bright and delicate its hard not to stare but a strong gust of wind knocks me out of my trance and makes me lose my balance i almost trip when i take a step to save me from face planting into the cold hard ground breathing heavily i attempt to regain my balance then sit down and lay back on the roof and stare back to the trance enhancing sky. I sit there for hours until i am ready to try to go back to bed , i open my window and crawl through until i am on my window sill i close the window shut and hop off and jump onto my bed i lay there flat thinking about the beautiful display of stars in the sky and slowly drift off to sleep.

All of a sudden i am floating  i must be dreaming well wherever i am it sure is peaceful there are emerald green plants everywhere and a lake flowing with the wind as if traveling through time  but everything just comes to a sudden stop everything that was moving is now frozen in time then the color of the nature all around is drained and left as a ash gray just as that happened the world itself began to shake creating crater sized cracks in the ground i fall from my floating onto the cold hard ground and just as that happened the ground beneath me cracked and i fell through it felt as if forever i had been falling i was trying my hardest not to hyperventilate when finally i hit the bottom which is filled with water that is slowly building up personally i am afraid of water if i cant feel the bottom i panic and lose my breath and its only a matter of time until it rises deep enough to make me insecure  i look around for something for me to hold on to or at least to stand on then i spot out a little path way to get high enough away from the water so i use all my strength to get there as i do that i feel the water and my adrenalin rising finally close enough to the steps i try to grab on but get pulled away by a sudden current and as that happens my head goes under and i panic then everything goes black.I spring up from my bed scaring the heck out of my little sister Elise breathing heavily i stare at her a moment then ask why was she in my room she told me that she heard me tossing and turning and came to check on me and stayed by me in case i was going to have a heart attack or something then she asked if i was okay and i told her i was fine even though i was still breathing heavily then she told me to take it easy and left see for an 11 year old she really knows how to comfort somebody.

I decide to get up considering the fact that i cant go back to sleep anyway so i climb off my bed and change my clothes then i grab my iPod and sit in a bean chair on the floor in my room. I turn it on and decide to listen to some music to calm down i scroll down until i find the song im looking for which is moving on by James here is the lyrics:

well now that i have calmed down i can go make myself some breakfast so i get up and go down the stairs and am greeted by my little sister Elise who hugged me the minute i got off the stairs you see me and her are close so we can do things like that.Once she let me go i continued my way to the kitchen i decided to make myself a bowl of cereal because im to lazy to cook right now so i grab myself the most sugar filled cereal we have which is called Krave and to make it have even more sugar i used chocolate milk instead of normal so im going to be loaded with energy for later but as i was doing this Elise walked in and stared directly at my sugar coated sugar bowl of cereal and started telling me that if i eat this im going to get diabetes but i just ignore her and eat it anyway.

Now that i have my energy for later im ready to go outside so i grab my hoodie and my shoes and head outside i decide to go to the forest and go exploring and possibly find a good stick to carve so off i go with my iPod in my pocket and play moving on as i make my way to the thick deep woods.Arriving at the forest i feel a cool calm breeze flow through me and get a sudden burst of adrenaline creating the urge to run for no reason whatsoever i think its the sugar kicking in i try my hardest to resist it but its too much for me to handle so i run in the little bit of freedom i have.

After running i finally almost collapse from lack of breath so i just sit there wheezing my lungs out until i eventually catch my breath i stop to think a moment then realize that i ran into a part of the forest i have never been i look around until i notice a small gray like figure stuck in the ground from a distance i decide to go towards it i stare at it for a moment then start digging it up from the ground i twisted it until it finally came loose it was a shard of something i scanned it a few more times then realized that the gray color is from being rained on so many times it really made me wonder how long it was stuck in there but setting that aside i rubbed it a little to see if i could get it a little bit more clean but just as i did that it started pouring rain without even a warning i pulled over the hood of my hoodie over top of my head and made a dash home.

I actually began to worry because my grandfather is a bit abusive and if he found out i was outside in the rain he will flip his lid and the last thing i want is a beating from my grandfather i shivered at the thought then kept running but the faster i ran the harder it was to see through the rain and the longer i took the more i began to worry especially  because my little sister is alone with that beast and our parents wont be back for a few more months but at least until then we are at my parents house which means i know all our escape routes and hiding places

Finally i make it to the door and turn the knob i run inside and take off my shoes then bolt upstairs to check on my sister i swear if the jerk hurt her it will be the end of him. i slow down and knock on the door to Elise's room i hear her say come in so i open the door and see her sitting on the floor playing one of her video games i ask her if she is alright even though i can clearly see it i ask anyway she chirps happily that she is fine but then realizes that i am out of breath and asks me where i have been but im to airless to answer she stares at me puzzled probably expecting an answer but then i remember the shard i found then walked out of her room and into the bathroom to wash it.

i take out the shard from my pocket and place it in the sink and turn the tap for the water flow into it i decided to let it soak for a bit.i exit the bathroom and head to my room when i run into Elise  i stop and stare at her until finally she asks if i could spend some time with her then she mentions something about playing hide and seek i tell her sure just after i put away my hoodie she replies ok then smiles while going to her room to wait.
I place my ipod on the desk beside my bed and yell out to Elise that i will be it so i sit on the edge of my bed as i hear her run to wherever she decides to hide i count quietly to myself until she said ready after a disturbing amount of silence she finally said ready so i got up and walked through the door and into the hallway i stopped and thought to myself for a moment of where she may be hiding then it came to me i slowly started to approach where i thought Elise may be hiding when i was close enough i held my breath and didnt move a muscle this way i would be able to hear her breathing which would give her away so i stood there silent and still and heard a soft breathing escaping from the closet i slowly pulled the door open and saw Elise sitting there staring up at me with a huge smile on her face and all that she said was 
                  "oh hey you found me"  
                   "well yeah..."
                   "well its your turn now ill count in here while u go hide when your ready say when"

after she said that i ran to the best place i had in mind which was down stairs inside the storage room.so bolting down the stairs quiet enough not to give myself away i snuck into the storage room which was cluttered with things everywhere but hey after all it is the storage room so i placed myself behind half of the stuff in the back and sat there in the dark until i was happy with my spot so i said ready and sat there quietly and waited for my sister to come and see if she could find me. after a few minutes i heard my sister starting to come down the stairs i held my breath so she couldn't hear me as she passed the room but just as i did that i felt something rubbing against my leg i jumped and covered up my mouth so i wouldn't accidentally yell i scanned the darkness of where i was once sitting and saw is was just my cat Wilson wanting to be petted so i picked him up and sat back down again and held him against me while he purred loudly.





Well anyway that is all i have so far feel free to give me ideas or tell me what you thought about it
